David Davies 15 July 2010

AC-ET’s Audio division has been selected as an accredited UK sub-distributor for Sound Technology’s Harman Professional brand portfolio. The line-up includes AKG, BSS Audio, Crown Audio, dbx Pro, JBL Professional, Lexicon Pro and Soundcraft.

A division of A.C. Entertainment Technologies, AC-ET has been supplying Sound Technology brands to dealers and end-users in the core production markets for many years. Combined with their sales and warehousing operations in the North and South of England, the strategic alliance is said to provide Sound Technology customers with “increased access” to stock in the UK whilst continuing to receive the “highest standard” of sales service and back-up.

As part of the agreement, AC-ET holds stock and demo units of key lines in the Sound Technology portfolio, including Soundcraft’s Vi1 digital mixing console.

Sound Technology sales director Greg Niven commented: “Having enjoyed a close working relationship for a number of years we are very pleased to add AC-ET to our sub-distribution network. Thanks to an extensive and diverse customer base AC-ET are ideally positioned to grow the profile of every Harman Professional brand, expanding the market for our products and system solutions.”

A.C. Audio sales manager Peter Butler (pictured) added: “We are delighted to be selected by Sound Technology as one of their key sub-distributors. The Sound Technology brands are synonymous with quality and innovation, further strengthening the choice of leading audio solutions we can offer customers under one roof to cater for their differing budgets and technical requirements.”
